Founded in 2006 by Dr. Kate O'Hanlan, the Laparoscopic Institute for Gynecological Oncology (LIGO) is the only institute of its kind, training gynecologic surgeons in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures. LIGO has trained over 520 gynecologic surgeons from the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America in total laparoscopic hysterectomy and advanced laparoscopic and oncological procedures.
